High Gloss Sealer

GRIND & SEAL FLOORS

  1. The process involves grinding the concrete with engineered concrete floor surface grinders to remove any contaminants from the existing slab.

  2. Next, cracks and divots in the floor are patched with patching material as necessary.

  3. Depending on your floor goals (i.e. desired finish and durability requirements), the concrete may be ground again with finer diamonds to further smooth the floor. If the concrete is soft, porous or free of contaminants, a second pass may not be necessary.

  4. Afterwards, the surface is properly cleaned.

  5. If desired, at this step a stain color can be added to your grind and seal concrete project. Choose from a wide variety of colors, from neutral, earth tones to colorful concrete dyes.

  6. Lastly, your sealed concrete floor is sealed with a topical sealer. Depending on your floor goals, requirements, and your space, your concrete flooring company will recommend the best type of sealer for your project. Softer, more porous concrete may require multiple additional coats of sealer. This is common in residential settings.

Concrete Stain

STAINED & SEALED FLOORS

Staining concrete produces rich, deep, translucent tones unlike paints or coatings that produce a solid, opaque effect. Depending on the color and application techniques used, the results can mimic everything from polished marble to tanned leather to natural stone or even stained wood.
Staining concrete is a great way to add color to an otherwise dull surface. The concrete staining process takes about 2 days, is moderately difficult and fairly affordable. New concrete should be fully cured before staining, which takes between 21 and 28 days.

BROADCASTED EPOXY FLOORS

What are Decorative Broadcast floors?

Decorative broadcast is a monolithic epoxy resurfacer designed to restore moderately worn or pitted concrete floors. The system is installed with a serrated applicator which allows the product to flow into low spots on the floor leaving a smooth, gloss finish. This system is the ideal choice between heavy duty resurfacing and a high build coating.

Broadcast floors are great for decorative purposes in light and medium duty traffic areas. The products give an overall shine to the floor and utilizes a slight texture, available from smooth to mild, to minimize slips making your floors safe. Decorative broadcast incorporates colored quartz aggregates or color flakes providing an attractive finish and is available in 15 different colors along with solid or custom blends.

Epoxy Countertops

EPOXY COUNTERTOPS

An epoxy countertop is a surface often installed in kitchens, laboratories, bars, and restaurants. It is made from an epoxy resin, which is a polymer that hardens from a gel state into a flat surface. The finished epoxy countertop is durable and water-resistant. The resin itself is usually mixed with a hardener solution, and then the combination is spread across a flat surface; once the epoxy hardens, a hard, flat surface will have been created. This is an inexpensive method for creating an attractive countertop.

RESINOUS "EPOXY" FLOORS

In a nutshell, epoxy flooring is a type of synthetic resin floor system that is laid on top of concrete substrates as a form of protection and decoration. The systems can comprise of several layers of thermosetting resin that are coated, trowelled or poured, and generally applied onto a concrete substrate. Once the resin layers completely cure, the floor system forms a strong and permanent bond, acting as an impervious and decorative barrier to protect the substrate.

Level 1 polished concrete

POLISHED FLOORS "LEVEL 1"

There are different levels of sheen and aggregate exposed on polished concrete floors. The levels of sheen range from matte to a high gloss finish. The level of sheen and amount of aggregate exposed depends on the diamond grit used to polish the concrete floor. The gloss levels range from one to four as classified by the (CPAA)
A level one ground polish will look slightly hazy when looking directly down at the floor. It will have very little if any reflection or clarity. This look can be achieved by halting below the 100 grit resin bond.

Level 2 polished concrete

POLISHED FLOORS "LEVEL 2"

There are different levels of sheen and aggregate exposed on polished concrete floors. The levels of sheen range from matte to a high gloss finish. The level of sheen and amount of aggregate exposed depends on the diamond grit used to polish the concrete floor. The gloss levels range from one to four as classified by the (CPAA)
A level two polish has a honed appearance which is achieved by halting at the 400 grit resin bond. Doing this results in a low gloss finish. Looking directly down and the floor will expose a very slight reflection, this slight reflection can also be seen from a distance of about 100 feet. This finish results in a low luster matte appearance.

Level 3 polished concrete

POLISHED FLOORS "LEVEL 3"

There are different levels of sheen and aggregate exposed on polished concrete floors. The levels of sheen range from matte to a high gloss finish. The level of sheen and amount of aggregate exposed depends on the diamond grit used to polish the concrete floor. The gloss levels range from one to four as classified by the (CPAA)
A level three polished surface will have a lot more shine than a level two finish. This is obtained by using a 800 grit or greater diamond abrasive. You will begin to see decent reflection of light on the surface. From 30 to 50 feet the floor will reflect overhead and side lighting clearly.

Level 4 polished concrete

POLISHED FLOORS "LEVEL 4"

There are different levels of sheen and aggregate exposed on polished concrete floors. The levels of sheen range from matte to a high gloss finish. The level of sheen and amount of aggregate exposed depends on the diamond grit used to polish the concrete floor. The gloss levels range from one to four as classified by the (CPAA)
A high level of shine is produced by a level four finish. You can see your own reflection with total clarity when looking directly down at the polished surface. The floor may also appear to be wet from different angles. A 3,000 grit resin bond diamond is typically used to achieve this level of sheen. A high speed burnisher with specifically outfitted buffing pads may also be used to achieve a level four sheen.

Stain and polished concrete

STAINED & POLISH FLOORS

Unlike Stain & Sealed Floors, Stained & Polished Floors offer the toughness and durability of Polished Floors with the Color and Beauty of Stain. Concrete dyes are translucent, penetrating color solutions, they do not react chemically with concrete. Instead, they contain very fine coloring agents that penetrate into the concrete surface.

Both water- and solvent-based dyes are available, with each type having unique qualities. Dyes tend to produce tones that are more predictable and uniform than stains, but it's still possible to achieve interesting color variations.

STAMPED CONCRETE OVERLAY

Stamped Concrete Overlay is a slower drying, Polymer and other additive enhanced concrete mix, that makes the concrete smoother, stronger, carvable and stampable, and it cures slower to allow more time for stamping of more intricate patterns.
Stamped concrete overlay can be stamped and carved to look like real rock and stone, or brick, tile, wood and more.
Stamped Concrete Overlay is designed to be applied over old concrete to cover imperfections and cracks in concrete driveways, patios, pool decks, pathways, floors and even decks, to provide repairs, and to beautify the concrete and give it an all new look

STAMPED CONCRETE

Stamped concrete is concrete that has had color, pattern, and/or texture added to it to make it resemble another material, such as brick, stone, or tile. In some cases, stamped concrete is more affordable than the materials it's designed to mimic, so people would rather use stamped concrete.
Styles of Stamped ConcreteThe stamping process uses rubber stamps or texturizing mats to imprint a pattern into wet cement. There are also ways to apply it over existing concrete if your slab is in good shape. These stamps are often designed from molds of the real material to get the appropriate texture. They can make your concrete resemble brick, cobblestone, slate, wood planks, and more. You're even able to add large medallions and other custom accents to a concrete slab.
Moreover, the stamps can be applied vertically as well as horizontally, which makes them good for much more than flooring. For instance, you can give an outdoor concrete fireplace surround a natural stone treatment. Or you can make a concrete retaining wall look like brick.
